Casual Customer Service Receptionist
We have casual vacancies available within our clubhouse Reception team. Our Reception team play a vital role in our business as they are often the first and last impression of our members and guests visiting our country golf club.
What you'll be doing:
Customer service/Reception,
Greeting each patron as they arrive in the club house,
Assisting guests with club sign in procedure,
Club Memberships including processing new memberships & renewals - Includes use of Membership, Industry specific, relevant sporting codes and Point of Sale (POS) systems,
Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls,
Cash handling.
Membership management.
Fare welling patrons as they leave the club house .
General office administration.
Receive and sort mail.
Email enquiries.
Support Senior management, committee members and volunteers with administrative requirements.
General marketing tasks as directed.
Undertake safety, stocktake & marketing material checklists as required.
Maintain levels of membership and other relevant documentation in club house reception and notice board areas.
All other duties as required
What we’re looking for:
xcellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills with the ability to speak with all stakeholders including all levels of team, Board members, members & guests, contractors, visitors, volunteers, suppliers and customers.
Strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously, without direct supervision in a team environment.
Experience in Microsoft office suite including Excel.
“Hands on” with a positive, can-do attitude.
Previous experience with IGT systems advantageous.
Previous experience using Mi-Club advantageous .
Cert III in administration or similar desirable but not essential.

Part-time Pro Shop Attendant
The Howlong Golf Resort Pro-Shop team requires a Pro Shop Attendant to provide quality customer service to our members and guests and assist with the daily operations of our Golf Pro Shop.
This is a Part-time role 4 Days a week 30.4 hours (minimum) working Sunday –Wednesday.
What you will do:
• Provide high level customer service including responding to telephone and email enquiries
• Retail sales
• Maintaining a clean and professionally merchandised appearance of the Pro Shop
• Cash handling including collection of Competition and Green fees
• Operate Point of Sale system, membership & booking systems
• Assist with memberships as required
• Monitor dress regulations of all players
• Clean and maintain hire equipment and accessories
• On course Marshalling duties as directed
• Assist Director of Golf, Pro shop & Operations team with Golf events and competitions
What we’re looking for:
• Has proven experience in similar retail &/or customer service roles
• Is “hands-on” with a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work autonomously in a team environment
• MiClub and/or IGT system experience an advantage but not essential
• Previous experience and understanding of golf competitions, social golf( green fee players) and golf course operations preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
• Possesses excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with all levels of team, customers and stakeholders
• Flexible working hours including early mornings including open and close shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate advantageous
• Working with children check advantageous

Casual Bar and gaming all rounders
We are seeking enthusiastic Bar and Gaming All-rounders to join our team at Howlong Golf Resort. These casual position offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant and fast-paced hospitality environment, providing excellent customer service and support to our valued members and guests.
As a Bar and Gaming All-rounder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar and gaming facilities, contributing to the overall success of our resort.
What you'll be doing
Providing exceptional customer service to guests at the bar and in the gaming area
Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with speed and accuracy
Handling cash and processing payments efficiently and securely
Maintaining a clean and well-organised bar and gaming area
Assisting with the set-up and pack-up of bar and gaming operations
Adhering to all relevant licensing and responsible service of alcohol regulations
Providing support to the wider hospitality team as required
Promoting internal activities, events, and special offers
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a similar bar or gaming role
Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a friendly and welcoming experience for guests
Proficiency in mixing and serving a variety of beverages, with a focus on quality and attention to detail
Excellent cash handling and payment processing skills
A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
A current NSW Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) certification
Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling certification advantageous
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to handle the demands of a busy, fast-paced environment
Full availability to work a range of shifts including (day, late nights, weekends and public holidays)

Our friendly Country Golf Resort team requires a Cook / Chef r to assist in the day to day operation of the Fairways Bistro.
